The Seven Natural Wonders Of The World

The Rim Trail is along the South Rim

The Grand Canyon,  the mighty Grand Canyon.  One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and I had an opportunity to visit a few years ago.  This is a trip that I will never forget, and I'm looking forward to going back very soon.

On the drive to the canyon we watched a video all about the history of the canyon.   The driver, who was a knowledgeable guide, gave us a chilling  build up as we approached the canyon.  He informed us about the tales of people falling off the canyon.  The trip to the Grand Canyon is about a four hour drive from vegas.   Here are a few pictures that I captured while there.

This was an amazing trip.  The Canyon is breathtaking, spectacular in size.  Walking around the canyon you had to be very aware of your path because there were no railings.

I was blown away at the views.  This was the be all, end all of being at peace for me.  I've never felt that type of peace before and I was gratefully thanking the creator for it.

The Grand Canyon was so much more than I could have ever imagined.  We spent about two hours or more at the canyon, and we only saw one side.   I'm planning to return to the mighty Grand Canyon to see the North Rim.
