                         October 15th 2005



The Millions More Movement took place on October 15th, 2005.   A broad coalition of African American leaders launched the movement to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Million Man March. Ten key issues identified by the movement organizers were: Unity, Spiritual Values, Education, Economic Development, Political Power, Reparations, Prison Industrial Complex, Health, Artistic/Cultural Development, and Peace. My Guide to Relaxing And Why It's Needed      After the stroke and the brain tumor surgery, learning how to take care of myself became my number one priority.  I became an expert in the art of relaxation.  Well, maybe not an expert but I'm definitely on my way.   It took a long time for me to come into my new self.  Yes, my new self because the old me is no longer,  I've tried hard to be that old self.   My truth is that I will never be the person that I was but more on that topic at another time.  Today it's all about my guide to relaxation and hoping that this helps someone out there that may need to learn how to relax.       Finding peace, calmness, and harmony became important to me.  The quietness was already there,  I had relocated to a different state just for that.  It's a very difficult task to just become into yourself, to find peace within yourself, and then be happy with just be...
